Fuel & CO2

Fuel

Your airline literally can’t function without fuel, so managing it wisely is key.

Prices change every 30 minutes, ranging from $300 to $3,000 per 1,000 lbs
If you’ve got a small tank, buying below $1,000 is solid
If you’ve got a big tank (days worth of fuel), aim for under $500
Fuel bonanzas sometimes happen. Prices can dip below $300, so stock up!

💡 Plan ahead: Fuel-hungry planes like the IL-96 can eat through your profit if you don’t buy fuel wisely.

CO2 Quotas

CO2 isn’t as urgent as fuel, but don’t ignore it.

If your CO2 goes negative, you lose 10% reputation
(and you can’t use the eco-friendly campaign to regain it)
Quotas are cheaper than fuel per unit, but you’ll use a lot more of them
Prices usually range from $100 to $200 per 1,000 quotas
- Under $120 is considered a good deal
CO2 bonanzas can also drop prices significantly

💡 Tip: Stock up on quotas when they’re cheap — and avoid negative emissions at all costs.

Staff

Your staff includes pilots, flight attendants, engineers, and technicians and just like in real life, morale matters.

Low morale = fewer passengers on your flights
High morale = more efficiency and happier flights

How to Increase Morale (Without Going Bankrupt)

Complete Management Training (more on that below)
Do pay cuts until you see:
“Salary cannot be lowered if morale is below 50%”
Then increase salaries until you hit 100% morale
Repeat the cycle to reach minimum salary with 100% morale

Smart salary management = happy staff + happy passengers.

Stock Market

Once you do an IPO (Initial Public Offering), you unlock the stock market.

How It Works:

Buy low, sell high (just like in real life)
You don’t earn anything when others buy your shares
You can:
- Buy up to 20,000 shares in one company
- Hold a max of 100,000 shares total
Want more of your own shares? Use 300 bonus points in the bonus section

Bonus Points (BP)

Bonus points are a special currency used to unlock powerful upgrades and features.

What You Can Buy

Hubs = 20 BP each
Fuel tank upgrade (+2.5M lbs) = 400 BP
CO2 quota tank upgrade (+2.5M quotas) = 300 BP
Unlock Cargo operations = 450 BP

How to Earn Points

Complete achievements (5–75 BP each)
Depart planes (randomly gives 1–4 BP)
Buy points in the in-game shop

Pro tip: Use your points wisely — they’re one of the most valuable currencies in the game.

Banking

At level 10, you’ll unlock banking.

Here’s what to know:

You can open multiple accounts and deposit money
There’s a 2% deposit fee
No interest is earned — this is just for safe storage
Deposited funds are insured! So if you for instance for some reason get extensively audited, your money is safe.
