Farm Manager Guide: Beginner

 

This beginner’s guide aims to give you 35-45 million in cash before the Beginner’s Boost ends. This can be achieved by having:

Read all this before starting a new game.

Phase 1 - Create Your Farming Company 

  1. Start a new game → Create your Farming Company
  2. Choose any country of your choosing (important for local ranking system).
  3. Select Wheat as your first crop.
  4. Choose AgroDominus 950 as your first harvester.
  5. Follow the consultant tutorial fully - finish all tasks because he rewards free points at the end.

Phase 2 - Complete Initial Tasts (No Farming Yet)

  1. Complete the first 3 tasks without farming.
  2. Plow the mature field for the 3rd task - this gives 15 points.
  3. After receiving the points, sell your two starting fields.

Phase 3 - Move to a Good Farm Location with Scalability

  1. Buy a farm in an area with multiple 150ha fields (very important), Rwanda is good for this.
  2. Sell everything from your old farm:
    1. Empty the barn
    2. Finally sell the old farm itself
  3. Watch all ads for:
    1. Free points
    2. Crop silo
    3. See silo
    4. Barn limit

Phase 4 - Land Expansion Trick

  1. You now only have 1 field that came with the new farm.
  2. Buy a 150ha field (this costs 25,000 since it’s your second field).
  3. Sell the attached field that originally came with the farm.
  4. Buy another 150ha field again for just 25,000.

 

You now own two 150ha fields for a very low cost.

Phase 5 - Unlock Main Crop & Prepare

  1. In the 4th task set, unlock Dryland Rice (Costs 285 points - use it for the “Unlock new crop” task)
  2. Buy the cheapest clearing unit to prepare your two fields.
  3. Expand your barn using points
  4. Expand your crop silo using points
  5. Start seeding both 150ha fields with Dryland Rice.
  6. Buy 1-2 harvesters to prepare for the harvest.

Phase 6 - Subsidies & Research

  1. Before the first harvest, lobby for a subsidy:
    1. Ask for maximum 1,200 for 10 hours.
    2. It is always approved the first time in any country.
  2. Build a Research Facility.
  3. Immediately add an extra laboratory.
  4. Research in this order:
    1. Fertilizing
    2. Crop (Dryland Rice)
    3. Well
    4. Irrigation

Phase 7 - Scale to 8 fields

  1. Continue to buy 150ha fields
  2. After researching Fertilizer, seed 2-3 fields with fertilizer.
  3. With ~20% time remaining of Beginner’s Boost, you should already have:
    1. 8 fields of 150ha
    2. All fertilized
  4. Wait for irrigation research to finish.

Phase 8 - Final harvest under boost

  1. Begin seeding all 8 fertilized fields, using irrigation in each field as possible during maturation.
  2. After harvest, sell everything in your barn except irrigation equipment.
  3. With profits from the final boosted harvest, buy:
    1. 8 Fieldnova x-500 Tractors
    2. 8 plowers
    3. 8 fertilizers 
    4. 8 seeders
    5. 8 GrainForce 9000 Harvesters

You should now be ahead of anyone who hasn’t read this.
